Apple's App Store reaches 10 Billion downloads

Apple has once again proven that its mobile operating system, the iOS, is one of the most popular mobile platforms on the market. The Apple iOS is the operating system that powers Apple's portable devices, such as the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

However, the iOS wouldn't have ever been as popular today if it wasn't for the App store. Featuring thousands of different games and apps available for download the App Store is the biggest of its kind and shows no signs of slowing.


In fact, the App Store has officially passed the 10 billion downloads mark. That's more downloads than the entire population of the Earth, and for sure demonstrates Apple's huge success in both the Smartphone and PC tablet market.
